Georgia O’Keefe once said, “Art is not about learning how someone else does something. It’s about discovering what’s inside you.” I admire her so. Not because of her art so much. Southwestern has never really been my style. But because she did things that no other artist had done before her. She wasn’t afraid of blazing a new trail and walking her own journey.
