On the Horizon
“What’s on the horizon kid?” It’s a question I’ve heard a thousand times from my 91 year old mentor. It symbolizes hope for me…. that something is coming up. Something is around the corner. Something is in the works that will get me out of bed tomorrow and the next day. What’s on the horizon? The more I think about it… it is a luxury. To even have that phrase in my regular list of phrases is a luxury — a luxury that not all share.
