One of the things that struck me as I left Cuba was how easy it is to lose our appreciation for the abundance we have. In Cuba, there is a value to EVERYTHING.
This chair was hand crafted from scrap iron. Every screw, every nut, every shaving of metal is used for something.
When resources are scarce, ingenuity is abundant!
Nothing is wasted here.
