Perspective Shift
As I stood in front of this man, I had a flash back to my drive a few days earlier to Miami International Airport. It was 4:30 am in my 2003 Honda Odyssey with blasting AC and my favorite CD blaring in my ears. Grateful that there were no cars on the road at that hour? Actually, I was frustrated that my car would not cruise comfortably over 85 mph without rattles and snorts. The cupboards of my mind were thoroughly rearranged when I truly embraced the reality of a country that exists largely without cars! This scene is typical and considered a LUXURY. I will never look at my daily journey through life the same way….
