Cigar Man
The western tip of Cuba is amazingly fertile. Tobacco is grown in abundance. Each plant throws off only 4 leaves. The inner leaf is the least mature and is used for cigarettes. The outer most leaf is the most mature and is used for the finest cigars. The inner two leaves are used for lower grade cigars. This man’s wife is very ill. He has been unable to work for months due to this illness. This day was his first back to work in months… He shared it, in part, with me. Forever grateful, KAT
